How to Adopt Your New Aussie Puppy
We’re so excited that you’re considering welcoming one of our Aussie puppies into your home! The internet has made it easier than ever to connect families with great puppies, but nothing beats spending time with them in person. That’s why we encourage you to visit the breeder’s premises, meet the puppies, and get to know your new best friend face to face.
Here’s a detailed breakdown of how the adoption process works at My Aussie Pups; from first contact to bringing your puppy home.

What to Expect During the Adoption Process
1. Find a Puppy You Love
Start by browsing our Available Puppies. When a puppy catches your eye, click on their listing to view more details. You’ll find the breeder’s contact information and a short bio about them in the Breeder Info Box.
2. Connect with the Breeder
Reach out to the breeder by phone or text to ask any questions you have about the puppy. This is a great opportunity to get to know the breeder, learn more about the puppy’s personality, the parents, and ask about the environment in which they’re being raised.
Note: Some breeders use home phones only. If the listing says “Call Only,” please leave a voicemail, and they’ll return your call within 24 hours.
3. Reserve Your Puppy
Once you’ve connected with the breeder and are ready to move forward, you can place a reservation directly on our website. This will:
- Instantly remove the puppy from the website listings
- Secure your spot as the new owner
- Trigger a confirmation email with payment details
4. Schedule Pickup or Delivery
After reserving your puppy, work with the breeder to schedule a visit for pickup or arrange for third-party delivery if you’re not local. The breeder will give you their address. Please note, the address on our website is for our main office only.

5. Final Payment Options
You’re welcome to:
- Pay the remaining balance online via the link in your puppy reservation email
Or bring cash when you go to meet the breeder
6. Bring Home Your New Best Friend
Whether you visit the breeder in person or receive your puppy through a trusted transport service, we’re here to make the transition as smooth as possible.
